As mentioned in my previous post I had the awesome opportunity to go to not one but two
different district meetings this past month. It was honestly such a blast!

Saturday, 15/09/12, I took my first European train from Turku to Helsinki. The day before I went to the station with my host mom and was able to get a student card and purchase my train tickets. Thankfully, being a student I was able to get the tickets for 1/2 the price which was really nice! My train left bright and early in the morning at 6:25 a.m. (ouch!) but I was needing to be in the city in time to meet with the entire group for the Rotex District 1420 meeting.
So continuing unto after meeting with all of the students I was able to go back with one of my exchange friends (Kristian, from Germany) to his host hometown/host home of Sibbo, Finland. We got back around 5 p.m. or so and pretty much immediately dropped off our stuff at the house and then went on a hike through the forest. That's something Finland is definitely known for... all of the woods! The nature here is absolutely stunning and it's nearly impossible to not explore all there is around you. Especially in a small town like Sibbo, it's so easy to just explore and enjoy the natural beauty :) I mainly just want to show some photo's that I had taken from today! Because once again, I think that's the best way to explain things.
