No more living in the shadows now, step into the light.

Woke up this morning more than ready to face the day. God is working in my life and I can both feel and see the results. Curious to see how things work out but am trying my bust to trust in Him with as much as possible. What keeps you guys going day by day? Being at this age is such an interesting time in life and I have to say although more often than not I'm confused and stressed and clueless about what's happening, I love every minute of it. Because with each new day I am facing something new and with that I am learning new lessons, both with life & also about myself. It's been an amazing journey thus far and I am constantly thankful for the extreme amount of blessings I've had throughout everything! And so, today I just want to say that life is beautiful and we should start each new day with this thought in our minds... always being thankful for everything. Because you know what? We are so blessed! With every little thing in life.

The other day, I received my 50mm 1.4 lens in the mail from my dear parents and I have to say I am such a happy girl! I've had such difficulty sending it back and forth between here and the states and I had just given up thinking it was a lost cause. But to my surprise my dad actually sent it into Chicago to have it professionally fixed and with lots of extra padding they sent in to Finland in GREAT condition! It's now up and working and more beautiful than ever! I've forgotten how much I've missed this beauty of a lens. It's a perfect lens for the kind of work I'm into and I'm really excited to start taking pictures on a more regular basis now :) I went ahead and decided to test it out this afternoon and stepped outside my house to take some self portraits! Plus, I knew that I was majorly due for finally getting some pictures with my pixie cut.
