Are you curious about what I see on a day-to-day basis? Well if not, hopefully now you are! What I see every day from morning to night is very different than my hometown in Illinois. First of all, there are hills. No... this doesn't mean that there are huge alps, but it also means that it's not just flat all around for hundreds of miles (cough *rantoul* cough) Don't get me wrong.. the more I'm here in Finland I'm learning to love a new place, a new life.. but I'm also starting to realize that already I have grown such a love and appreciate for not only my home town, but also my home country.
I know by the end of the year I'll be more proud than ever to be a citizen of the USA. Of course, I am already proud to say this.. but I think going to another country and living in their culture you get whole entire other point of view. Anyways, that's not what this post is supposed to be about! Back to what I was saying.
Transportation here is very different. I take the public bus anytime basically anytime I ever want to go anywhere with a distance, and when the distance is shorter I walk. Taking these different kind of transportation's you see so much more and have to learn many different routes.I come across so many different and beautiful places that always catch my eye. Sadly, a lot of the time I won't have my camera with me because I'm generally going to or from school - if you saw my school bag you would see that it's already plenty full with my school books and other belongings, lugging around the weight of my camera would be a little too over the top - but the rare chances when I do have my camera, I have made sure to snap some photo's for you all to see for yourself. You know me, I do best describing things when there's a visual photograph to look at. :)

Morning's in my household usually consist of some cartoon on the T.V. while we all wake up, eat breakfast, and do our morning routines. Each day is always a little bit different :) That's the best part of it, right? |
And then also, because this blog post is already a bit all over the place (at least, it seems to be that way to me..) here's a few random photo's from last week that I've taken. Memories made, new friends, and of course... new sights to see :) Enjoy!
