What is beauty?

…and so she asked “what’s beauty?, i can’t seem to find it."

and he replied “people look outside, and just think everything’s dead, that it’s ugly. but it’s when you look and really see. you see that the small little crack in the road, and the crooked little tree with an out of place branch. you notice each and every little leaf, every little snowflake. you realize how everything is different, all unique. you see the people, the ones who seem so ordinary.. who’re so much more special than you would ever think. you hear the birds sing, and feel the wind against your hair. it’s in that moment where you just look around, and you see the world. the beautiful world that God made. I believe that is, in fact, beauty.”

As I'm currently working on writing a paper for my English class I was looking through old documents and writings for ideas and I came across this small insert. I have to say, I love it just as much now as I did back then. I feel like the thought and idea expressed still happens to be so very true... that is, to where I stand of course. I've never really considered myself much of a writer and definitely haven't thought I'd ever be sharing with so many people. I still wouldn't know if I'd call myself a writer though, because I know it's not my expertise and there are far many actual writers out there who amaze me with their amount of talent in this field. Of course though, it's still something that I'm slowly realizing I have a bit of a passion for... even if hidden ;) I have no idea what lies ahead in my future, but as for now it's honestly been such a joy knowing that I'm able to share with all those who take interest in reading this blog. So thanks a ton, everyone!
