My very first experience at summer cottage was last weekend and what an experience it was!

Where do I even begin? Well first off, I guess I can quickly explain that my host family actually just bought their first summer cottage just this summer so it really isn't all that old. They got it from an elderly couple with all of the original things still there. There's a very cozy cottage of a home, a nice porch with a great big table for sharing meals together, and a lot of surrounding land of trees and nature. It's on an island in the sea that you have to take a 1 1/2 hour boat ride in order to get there. And you know what the best part about it all is? There is absolutely
no electricity! That's right... we truly are one with nature. Living in the 21st century these days you're probably thinking "
how do they even live?!" Well, believe it or not it is in fact very possible and it also happens to probably be one of the most refreshing and relaxing things ever!

So as you can see, the nature is probably the first thing that caught my eye when we arrived. It honestly takes your breath away! Everything is just so naturally beautiful and I completely love it. My family owns a lot of the land around there cottage so it's very peaceful and quite and truly a sight to see.
